Self-care
SELF-CARE: One of my favorite things to talk about because of its importance, especially with the way the world is right now.
When you hear the term “self-care” you might think of spending a ton of money at the salon, buying new clothes, accessories, or any material item that brings you joy. I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t need to be all that.
Taking your mental and physical health into consideration is the first step. We ALL live busy, and often hectic, lives. Do you ever feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day? Yeah, me too. That is why taking care of ourselves can be done in small, simple actions.
For me, self-care is taking ten minutes out of my morning to meditate. I choose to allow myself that time to clear my head and start my day off focused and ready to go! But it could be as simple as taking a walk outside, reading a couple chapters of a good book, or calling a loved one on the phone. It really is THAT simple!
Start with a small actions step, and see where you can go from there!
